Brass at the Guild Contest (Preston)
The band played at the Brass at the Guild Contest on Sunday 5th February. The band played the testpiece 'Oregon' by Jacob de Haan. The band were placed 1st in the Fourth Section. (Video)
Fleetwood Contest
The band played at the Fleetwood Contest Sun 2nd Oct. The band played the testpiece 'Music from Kantara' by Kenneth Downie. The band were placed 4th.
Kirkby Lonsdale Entertainment Contest
The Band layed at the Kirkby Lonsdale Entertainment Contest 19th June. The band played a varied programme consisting of the march Liberty Bell, Love on the Rocks, Tuxedo Junction, The Old Rugged Cross, 'Black is the colour of my true love's hair', and Journey through America. The band were placed 3rd. Well done everybody
St. Helens Contest
The band played at St. Helens Contest 21st Nov. The band played the testpiece 'Dark side of the Moon' by Paul Lovet-Cooper. Unfortunately we were not placed within the prizes.
Fleetwood Contest
The band played at the Fleetwood Contest 3rd October.The band played the test piece ' The Seasons' by Philip Wilby. The band gained a 2nd Place.
